Calling all video artists….!

Ready to kick it into high gear!

Legals have been confirmed and the site is ready to start reviewing the work of respective video artists. The process goes like this:

Go to ShinyArt.com ; follow “Artists” and then “Become a ShinyArt Artist” tabs.

Now you can submit some words about yourself and your work, as well as provide a URL so that your best video work can be reviewed by ShinyArt. Do please keep in mind that this work is ultimately accepted for HD flat screens – this affects aspect ratio, resolution and other issues that you can learn about in detail on the site.

Once your work has been received by ShinyArt, you will receive a notice from us within five working days. If approved, you will get an email with all password and login information so that your work can be uploaded to the site. After one approval, you can use this account to upload as much work as you like without going through the approval process!

Why become a ShinyArt artist? Weeeellll – apart from the opportunity to have your work displayed on flat screens all over the world….there is, of course, the matter of royalties. Each time your work is downloaded to one screen, you will receive a royalty check!

Once the database of contributing artists is in order, we will start to implement our pricing parameters and you will be contacted again about pricing your work within our program. We hope to have the rental portion of the site up and running in good time – so that ShinyArt can start to place video art in public and private spaces and start to generate royalties for you!

Think about walking into a hotel, or restaurant, or lounge, or doctor’s office and seeing dynamic moving art on the wall instead of a flat screen with headlines or talking heads…..ahhhhh, wouldn’t that truly be the sign of a civilized society?

Send us your video work and let’s make this a reality! ShinyArt is standing by……
